ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
WE SAVE TEETH
Endodontics is a branch of dentistry which specifically focuses on soft tissue matters within the tooth. In the event of a dental trauma, nerves and tissues inside the tooth can become injured or infected.
A chronic toothache follows, and if left unattended, can wreak havoc on your tooth and gum health. A qualified endodontist in Chester, however, can rescue your damaged tooth through a root canal treatment and restore it to good health.
What is a Root Canal?
A very common dental procedure in endodontics is a root canal. When your tooth has become too sensitive and “achy”, it is time for a root canal therapy.
Our expert endodontist will remove the affected pulp from inside your tooth, clean it out properly, and fill it with the appropriate dental material before sealing it up with a composite filling.
If one of your teeth is unusually sensitive or the pain is getting unbearable, don’t leave anything to chance. Consult our endodontist today.

Root Canal FAQs
Not at all – local anaesthesia is administered while root canals are performed. You will not feel any pain whatsoever during the procedure.
You are required to take the prescribed medication according to how your dentist has recommended. In addition, avoid eating until the anaesthesia has completely worn off and avoid hard or sticky food.
This typically takes three days, if you are generally in good health. Some patients, however, may require up to a week to fully recover.
